this year for no particular reason, just to get together and
catch up with old friends. If you would like to join us, we will be there. Please forward this message to those that you know.
Entry into the Game is $5.00. You can purchase your tickets
at the gate.
The Alumni Association is also putting on a dinner. Details are below.

Friday, October 9 – 5:00 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
The West High School Athletic Boosters invite all WHS Alumni Athletes (male and female of all sports), Cheerleaders,
Team Managers, Team Trainers, and Former Coaches to attend the first ever “Alumni Athlete Homecoming Dinner”.
Your ticket, of only $15.00/guest, will include both dinner and admission to the Homecoming Game. Dinner is open to the first
200 guests and will be served from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the school Cafeteria. All proceeds from the dinner will
benefit the Booster’s Scholarship Fund for Outstanding Senior Athletes.
If you are plan to attend the dinner
it is requested (but not required) that you e-mail whsboosterevents@yahoo.com or call (614) 327-9364 (after 7:00 p.m.). When
e-mailing, please put “Homecoming Dinner” in the subject line, and be sure to include your RSVP count in your
response. Money will be collected at the dinner.
Following dinner, all alumni athletes, cheerleaders, team managers,
team trainers and former coaches will form the “Tunnel of Tradition” on the football field, for the current WHS
Football team to run through prior to the game. The oldest attending athlete will participate in the coin toss and will receive
the game ball. The “Tunnel of Tradition” is open to both Alumni Athlete Dinner attendees and game only attendees
– who are alumni athletes, cheerleaders, team managers, team trainers and former coaches. Those who are unable to participate
in the dinner, but are planning to participate in the “Tunnel of Tradition”, should meet under the scoreboard
(north end of the field) between 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

HOLIDAY BOOTCAMP
It is already time for the December bootcamp
pre-registration. We are entering our 3rd week of the current bootcamp and the women are feeling energized and excited
over the progress they have made in such a short time. I am forwarding you the website if you are interested
in signing up for the upcoming month. It will be only 3 weeks because of the holidays, however, we will be
having 2 Sunday workouts during the December bootcamp. Please forward to anyone you think might be interested,
and remember you can still come to a session for free to see what we are doing during these next 2 weeks. Thanks again

Football Homecoming
In addition to the usual Homecoming activities, this year there will be a program
to recognize and welcome back ALL former West High athletes, coaches, trainers, and managers, both men and women of ALL sports.
The group will meet at 6 pm under the scoreboard. Instructions will be provided
on how "our Cowboys" will be welcomed to the field. We will recognize our oldest male and female athlete attending.
Mark your calendar and invite all those you know who have played, coached, or helped with our former teams. It's
sure to be an evening of fun and reunion.

March 22, Open Road Show
Don't forget, we'll be attending the next Open Road Show,
scheduled for March 22-23 at the Convention Center. Peter Wilson will be running the booth the first day, but we need volunteers
for the second day of the show.
